REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

FOR COST RECOVERY SERVICES

The Board of Commissioners for the St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1 (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “the Fire District”) requests proposals from qualified vendors (“vendor”) to provide emergency response cost recovery billing and collection.The successful vendor shall possess and demonstrate they have the necessary expertise, experience and qualifications to provide these types of services.

THESE SERVICES DO NOT INCLUDE AMBULANCE BILLING.

The initial term of a contract awarded as a result of this RFP shall be from date of award through December 31st, 2016. 

Five (5) originals of the proposal shall be furnished in accordance with the terms of this RFP. Sealed proposals must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, February 24, 2015 to the St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1 as follows:

Proposals may be delivered by hand, United States mail or overnight courier but must be received by the deadline. No proposals will be accepted after 4:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, February 24, 2015. Time of receipt will be confirmed by notation on the submitted proposal.

All proposals and accompanying materials become the property of the Fire District upon submission to the Fire District and shall not be returned to the respondent.

All proposals must be made in strict compliance with the applicable laws of the State of Louisiana, including Revised Statutes 39:1211 through 39:1235.
