Truck Pull to benefit Special Olympics Louisiana

WHO:             The Law Enforcement Torch Run, law enforcement agencies that raise money to benefit Special Olympics Louisiana year-round, challenge businesses, universities, and civic organizations to join them.
 
WHAT:           Truck Pull – 10 people form a team and pull a truck weighing approximately 42,000 lbs. Teams pull the truck 12 feet and compete for Fastest Team, Slowest Team, and Best Dressed Team. Truck Pull is open to registered teams only and registration is open to the public. 
 
WHEN:           Saturday, April 2, 2011 – Registration at 9:00am – Pull begins at 10:00am. – End time around noon depending upon number of teams registered.

WHY:             To benefit Special Olympics Louisiana athletes by providing individuals with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to train and compete in sports.
 
COST:             The cost is $500 per 10 person team. ($50 a person)
