GPS fund raiser for Fire District No. 1

‘Fire District #1 has been approached by a member of the public, that wishes to assist us in raising funds to put GPS units in all of our primary units. Dwayne Shockley of Select Brands has partnered with Best Buy of Slidell and the result is a fund raiser for this event. The event will be carried out on August 8th, 2009 at Griffith Park behind Station 11 in Old Towne Slidell from 6pm to 8pm. First prize is an “Instant Wine Cellar” (100 bottles of wine). There will be other prizes available at the time of the event. Tickets will be $5 each or a book of 6 for $20. There will be wine tasting and finger food at the event.
