Fiery Vehicle Crash, No Injuries
Date of Incident: May 22, 2014
Slidell, LA. – St. Tammany Fire District #1 responded to the report of a vehicle accident on top of the Fremaux overpass in Slidell. Firefighters arrived on the scene in two minutes to find two vehicles badly damaged with one of them on fire. The occupants of the truck that was on fire had safely escaped prior to firefighters arriving on the scene. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and brought the situation under control. None of the occupants from either vehicle was injured.
The scene was turned over to law enforcement and reopened to normal traffic after wreckers removed both of the vehicles.
