Residential Structure Fire at 134 Foxbriar St.
Slidell, LA.-St. Tammany Fire District#1 responded to a residential structure fire at 134 Foxbriar St. in the Kingspoint subdivision. Firefighters arrived on the scene in a little over 6 minutes to find smoke and flames showing from a 1600 square foot single story residence. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within 25 minutes of arriving on the scene.
One of the tenants was awoken by a popping sound and discovered the fire in a bedroom. They were able to safely evacuate the home. The residence received heavy fire damage to one bedroom and moderate smoke damage throughout the rest of the structure. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. No injuries were reported.
