Residential Structure Fire at 37366 E. Timberline Dr.

Slidell, LA. – St. Tammany Fire District #1 responded to a
residential structure fire at 37366 E. Timberline Dr. in Slidell.
In just under 7 minutes firefighters arrived on the scene to find
an 1100 square foot mobile home with fire and heavy smoke showing
through the roof.  Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire
within 20 minutes of arriving on the scene.

The owners were not home at the time of the fire.  There was heavy
fire damage to approximately 25% of the home and extensive smoke
damage throughout the rest of the structure.  The fire is believed
to have started in the master bathroom located at one end of the
mobile home.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.  The
Red Cross was contacted to provide assistance to the family.  No
injuries were reported.
