Resumes Requested – Fire District 1 Board Seeking Chairperson
St. Tammany Fire District No. 1 is seeking resumes from interested persons for the position of Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners.
Resumes are to be submitted no later than 4:30 PM, Friday, 25 January 2013. We request that the resumes be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to Fire District Headquarters located at 1358 Corporate Square, Slidell.
This position, as with the 4 appointed commissioners, receives no pay. The Fire District Board of Commissioners meets on a monthly basis and provides governmental oversight for the operation of the fire department. The Chairmanship position is selected by the 4 appointed commissioners and serves at the pleasure of those 4 appointees.
