Louisiana Legislators Recognize Retiring Slidell Fire Chief’s Years of Service to the Community

Slidell, LA. – Recently, members of the Louisiana State Senate and House of Representatives recognized St. Tammany Parish Fire District No. 1, Larry Hess, for his 10 years of service as Fire Chief in Slidell and his 48 years career in the Fire Service.  Chief Hess will be retiring on September 30th of this year.  Please follow the St. Tammany Fire District No. 1 website and Facebook page for information that will be posted, as the Fire District’s Board of Commissioners publicizes details of their search for a new fire chief.
